Fans have been given their first glimpse into the 2024 AFL season, with West Australian teams kicking off the season on March 17.

In a shake-up, this year will see 14 Thursday night games played, with an additional round zero from March 8 to 10 featuring two preliminary rematches.

6PR sports reporter Mark Readings told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast he doubts many fans will be disappointed by the additional games.
