Andrew Hastie was emotional in Parliament today after a wartime inquiry led to several defense officers being stripped of their honors.

Defense Minister Richard Marles stated that the alleged misconduct, which took place between 2005 and 2016, was “arguably the most serious allegations of Australian war crimes in our history.”
