The ACCC has completed its investigation into HelloFresh and Youfoodz and is now taking both meal delivery businesses to court over their subscription practices.

ACCC Commissioner Luke Woodward explained to Perth Live host Russell Collett that their inquiry found that approximately 100,000 consumers over a two-year period have lodged complaints, revealing the core issue.

“These consumers were finding that they hadn’t realised that they’d signed up or that they felt that they had cancelled before the first delivery and were still being charged,” he said.
