Police Minister Paul Papalia has responded to the incident that left a 28-year-old constable in a critical condition with fury, saying it’s a tragedy that a young officer was the target of such violence.

“Its an incredibly hard, challenging incident and I feel for them all,” Papalia told reporters when discussing the incident.

6PR News Reporter Anne Barclay told Gary Adshead onĀ 6PR Mornings that the proceeding of the investigation were a ‘somber affair.’
