West Coast excitement machine Liam Ryan has taken another step in his road to return from a hamstring injury after being ticked off by surgeons today.

The All Australian hasn’t played since going down in the Eagles’ derby loss to the Dockers in Round 3, but in a rare interview told the Wide World of Sports’ Adam Papalia & Will Schofield that he’s inching closer to a return.

“Seen the surgeons today, got everything ticked off, so everything’s going to be flying from now on” said Ryan.
