A new flight lounge is aiming to take on the exclusive Qantas and Virgin clubs by offering similar services for a drastically reduced cost.

The Plaza Premium Lounges are popping up in airports across the country, specifically designed for “infrequent flyers”.

Points Hack Managing Director Daniel Skiberras it’s offering more flexibility to travellers.

“The great thing though is you’ve just got a quiet area to work or relax,” Mr Skiberras said.

“A lot of the time with power points, you’re sitting on the floor fighting for the one and only power point in the airport lounge; now you’ve got all that.”
