Australia is expecting around 130,000 New Zealanders to jump across the ditch over the next four years.

A new government immigration policy is opening the door for our neighbours with the intention of covering skills and worker shortages

Research Fellow with the Institute of Public Affairs John Storey told Oliver Peterson on 6PR Perth Live the immigration strategy needs improvement.  

“We’re not planning for it particularly in housing there’s going to be hundreds of thousands housing shortfall across the country that we’re just not planning for,” Mr Storey said.

“The result will be inflation”.
