There are calls for cursive handwriting to be phased out in high school.

According to experts, there are several crucial reasons why teaching handwriting is still necessary.

Research Fellow at Deakin University Lucinda Knight spoke with Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons.

”With the advent of ChatGPT and other Ai writers… it might mean handwriting is even more important,” Ms Knight said.
