The heartbroken mate of one of the Swan River plane crash victims has told The Morning Show’s Gareth Parker, we have lost a ‘brilliant Australian’. 

Police have confirmed 52 year old Peter Lynch was piloting the plane when it crashed on Australia Day, also claiming the life of Mr Lynch’s partner, 30 year old Endah Cakrawati.

Mr Lynch’s longtime friend Rod Kinnish has paid tribute to the experienced pilot.
