The Greens promise to block the Federal  Government’s multi-billion-dollar housing fund unless they freeze rents for at least two years.

Greens’ Housing spokesperson Max Chandler-Mather told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the government’s plan doesn’t help the issues of today.

“If we don’t stop rent increases then the demand for social housing will become completely unserviceable,” said Mr Chandler-Mather.

“We know what fixes the housing crisis which is building public and affordable housing and stopping rent increases.”
