The common issue that’s just as dangerous as drink driving

A study published in Nature and Science of Sleep has found driving on less than five hours of sleep is just as dangerous as drinking before getting behind the wheel.
CQ University lecturer Madelaine Sprajcer told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast sleeping less than eight hours greatly increases your risk of having an accident.
“We found that the risk of having a crash is about double after only getting five hours of sleep,” Ms Sprajcer said.
