Federal parliament has taken a major step towards the Voice referendum, by introducing key legislation outlining the principles of the proposed Indigenous advisory body.

It’ll be scrutinised by a special committee, with the Government hoping to pass the new laws by the end of June.

Despite the new information, there is still concern not enough has been shared about what the Voice will entail.
