Protests have been held in Cockburn today rejecting nuclear-powered submarines in Western Australian waters.

Stop AUKUS WA spokesman Sam Wainwright told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the submarines benefit no one.

“We do not want the risk of nuclear reactors,” said Mr Wainwright.

“It is a waste of money.”
