Doctors have raised concerns over the rise of instant online prescriptions.

People can now order prescriptions online without having to book a doctor’s appointment.

Rural chairman of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Dr Michael Clements told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live this is a concerning trend.

“It’s alarming… I spend my time cleaning up the mess,” said Dr Clements.
