A man has been charged after a five-and-half-hour stand-off in Perth’s southern suburbs.

Police were called to a Beeliar home just after 8 o’clock last night- to reports of a man refusing to get down from a roof.

It’s alleged the man threw rocks and roof tiles at officers, police vehicles, an ambulance and the windows of several houses- as he jumped from roof to roof.
