Teenager charged as police seize a 3D printed firearm

A semi-automatic assault riffle constructed by a 3D printer has landed an 18 year old from Bayswater with eight hefty charges.

Detective Senior Sergeant Blair Smith, Acting Officer in Charge from the Drug and Firearm Squad told Oliver Peterson this dangerous ‘toy-like’ weapon operates similarly to a fully functioning weapon.
