An investigation has been launched to determine how a newborn baby died after being found unconscious at a Beeliar home yesterday.

The one-month-old boy was reportedly found not breathing just after midday.

Nine News reporter Ashtyn Hiron told Steve Mills while paramedics performed CPR, he later died in hospital.

“We do know it’s believed the child didn’t have any visible injuries,” she said.

“But right now, the hospital is investigating.”
