The West Coast Eagles Thursday night clash against Richmond could be scrapped with the Queensland Government putting restrictions on Victorian teams flying in and out of the State.

The Sydney Swans will be the new Round 5 opposition for West Coast after Victoria recorded a concerning number of positive COVID-19 tests and the Queensland Government clamping down on the Melbourne teams.

West Coast will go up against the Sydney Swans from 11:45am (WST) on Saturday morning.

The fixture change is yet to be confirmed, but Nine News and Nine Radio sports reporter on the Gold Coast, Josh Dawe, gave us the latest.
