Has COVID-19 killed our trust in our leaders?

Coronavirus has caused Australians to lose trust in the world’s superpowers and pat ourselves on the back for our own handling of the pandemic.

In the past, we might have turned against our own leadership during a crisis and looked to other countries to lead the way; however Covid-19 has shifted the equation and caused us to see our own response in a new light. Even though their communication has been far from perfect, Australia’s leaders have managed to convey that they have the best interests of the nation at heart.
