Two leading WA professors are urging people to stay calm and be kind – but warn the threat of coronavirus must be taken seriously.

The Telethon Kids Institute’s Professor Jonathan Carapetis and Professor Fiona Stanley have penned a joint open letter – in a bid to ensure West Australians adopt social distancing and good hand hygiene to help slow the spread.

Professor Carapetis says it’s also important we remain kind to each other.
