Perth’s fuel ‘cheap day’ cycle disrupted

The Motor Trades Association says movement in Perth’s weekly fuel cycle may be reflective of international oil prices – on the back of lower demand out of China.

FuelWatch has noted a disruption in the weekly cycle – which has traditionally seen Monday the cheapest day for fuel – and Tuesday the most expensive.

Major outlets are instead beginning to increase prices on different days.

Association CEO Stephen Moir told Gareth Parker on Mornings there needs to be a more consistent cycle.
