West Coast Overcome Conversion Woes And Cats
The West Coast Eagles have overcome a poor scoring first half which saw the team with 17 behinds at the main break to run out 56-point winners over the Geelong Cats at Domain Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Chris Masten clocked up 20 disposals in the first half as his Eagles dominated around the ground, but they failed to nail the goal scoring until the third quarter when they out scored the Cats, 16.24 (120) to 10.4 (64).
In the Eagles sixth-straight win, Josh Kennedy finished with six goals, Masten managed 31 disposals and Andrew Gaff (32 disposals) and Matt Priddis (29) finished on a high.
