Adam Simpson has pointed to lessons learnt from the first derby and the evolution of the group ahead of Western Derby 42 on Sunday. 

Simpson said he was unsure whether Nic Naitanui would be available, while he expects Jeremy McGovern to miss after he re-injured his hamstring.
