Plans for the Scarborough boardwalk have taken a step forward following a comprehensive spring survey that will help shape the path through the dune system.

Mark Irwin, Mayor of the City of Stirling, told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that the survey is a key part of a rigorous process accounting for local flora and fauna.

“We understand there’s some community concern, we understand that even the majority of supporters of the boardwalk expect us to go through a rigorous process”, Irwin said.
