The iconic Billabong Roadhouse has been sold after 19 years of current ownership.

 Describing the role as an all-consuming job, former owners Jacques Tranquille and his partner Barbara told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that they just want to go home and have a rest.

“It’s been part of our lives for 19-odd years, so there’s a bit of sadness there. But a lot of joy as well, so we can get on with life a little bit”, Tranquille said.
