Tim Kingma, a board director at Australian Pork Limited, told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy & Karl that consumers deserve the option to back local producers.
“I want Australians to have the choice when they go into a food service venue to say ‘I can support an Aussie farmer or I can buy imported meat’,” he said.
