A devout Dockers fan may have been the first person to predict a 2026 Fremantle premiership.

Matthew Keynes was seriously injured when he was hit by a car in 2025. He told 6PR Weekends host Chrissy Morrissy that during his eight-week hospital stay, he had frequent, vivid dreams of the team winning the flag.

“It was almost every night. Sometimes I would wake up and be at the old Freo Oval, holding up the cup in the middle of the night. Other times it was Subi Oval and then sometimes the MCG, but every time it was the Dockers winning the flag,” he said.

Born at the old East Fremantle Hospital, the 34-year-old grew up in a Dockers family, inspiring a lifelong devotion to the club.
