The state government has pledged to work closely with the Shire of Gin Gin to develop an interim solution for Lancelin’s worsening erosion crisis.

Land Minister John Carey told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that he acknowledges the community’s persistent advocacy on the issue.

“They’re very resolute and I respect their advocacy … I understand how important this is, this is people’s homes, their lives, their businesses so I do not underestimate how important this is,” he said.
