Construction has begun between Williams and Narrogin on Neoen’s Narrogin Wind Farm, a project expected to create more than 250 jobs and power nearly 100,000 homes.

Curtin Institute for Energy Transition director Professor Peta Ashworth told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont about the development and Australia’s renewable energy strategy.

“It’s really important I think to get this system and have the plan to move forward; otherwise Australia’s just going to be backwards, it’s going to be difficult to even do business international”, she said.
