“What I have ended up with is a door stop out the front of my house which is my EV”, Schoey said.
Drive director of content James Ward told 6PR Breakfast hosts Karl and Will there is a concerning shortage of skilled technicians qualified to repair electrified vehicles, including EVs and hybrids, especially considering as of mid-year 42 per cent of cars sold in Australia are electrified.
“These things are very, very complicated pieces of equipment and they do need specialised training”, Ward said.
