Seven News reporter Cassidy Mosconi was on her way to cover another story when she unexpectedly stumbled into a drug bust.

Mosconi told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that the man arrested has been charged with several serious drug-related offences, including the alleged possession of 28 kilograms of methamphetamine, as well as cocaine and other prescription drugs.

“I thought they were coming for us at one point”, she said.
