An easy-to-use heart defibrillator, designed to reduce cardiac arrest deaths through early intervention has been launched.

St John volunteer paramedic Antonia Lao told 6PR Breakfast hosts Karl and Mick that anyone can use the device.

“From the second you turn it on it will actually have audio instructions and a metronome for you to follow to do your CPR and how to place the pads and it has all of these diagrams and instructions all built into it”, she said.
