Pharma giants refuse to slash lifesaving MS drug costs
Two pharmaceutical companies have rejected calls to lower prices for two lifesaving multiple sclerosis medications, potentially costing patients up to $33,000.

Dr Julia Morahan of MS Australia told 6PR Mornings host Chrissy Morrissy that the essential drugs must remain on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme to preserve patient quality of life.
“It is able to keep people very stable in their disease and [give a] much better quality of life, able to be part of the workforce, able to live their life as well as they possibly can,” she said.
