Tristan Jones survived a harrowing 246-day hospital stay after becoming septic following a pancreatitis diagnosis.

She credits the “incredible surgical team and nurses” at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for guiding her through the challenging ordeal.
This year, Jones participated in the HBF Run for a Reason with her supportive friends, who named themselves the ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ raising funds for Charlie’s Foundation, which supports medical research at the hospital.
Jones told 6PR Weekends host Chrissy Morrissy that Charlie’s staff were “incredible”.
“I was in ICU for over a hundred [days] … and I think I was in a coma for quite a few of those 100 days and the nurses and doctors at that place are just incredible”, she said.
