The bookmaker ended Foot’s secondary role as a horse racing analyst following intense scrutiny during the Zak Butters tribunal case, despite the AFL supporting the dual role.

Brad Hardie told 6PR Breakfast hosts Karl and Will that the outcome was unfortunate but predictable.

“It was never going to end well for Nick and unfortunately, it’s starting to unravel pretty quickly given the games that he has been doing. And of course now he’s lost that position with Sportsbet,” he said.
