The new blood test catching Alzheimer’s 10 years early
Recent clinical trials across Australia have unveiled a significant advancement in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease – a highly accurate blood test known as P-tau217.
Speaking to 6PR Breakfast with Millsy and Karl, neurologist Christopher Rowe said the new diagnostic tool would be able to detect Alzheimer’s-related brain changes a decade or more before physical symptoms appear.
