Following a small trial, AI assistance designed to take over time-consuming tasks like lesson planning will be rolled out across 100 WA schools by the end of the year, bringing relief to teachers.

However, Niel Smith of the WA Primary Principals Association told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that the new technology will not alleviate the issues facing school leaders, who are reportedly being neglected and suffering burnout, resulting in many resignations.

“The state of being a school leader is in fact getting worse,” he said
