An 89-year-old patient, who was in excruciating pain, was reportedly left in a corridor at Midland Hospital for two days.

Allegedly placed in the main thoroughfare, she was denied peace, privacy, and family visitation, and was not the only person affected.

Her daughters, Sue Chapman and Lyn Kirumira, told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that while staff went above and beyond to help, they were buckling under immense pressure, leading one to state:

“Its appalling to see that this is how people are getting treated in hospital,”
