Opposition Leader Basil Zempilas has apologised to Labor MP Michelle Maynard after she suggested she felt intimidated in parliament.

The incident occurred when Zempilas allegedly stood over her after Question Time, arguing his point.

“That behaviour is not ok in any workplace,” said Michelle Maynard.

Basil did issue an apology, after it was requested. “I apologised because Michelle asked for an apology,” said Basil.
