Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, was arrested over suspicion of misconduct in public office and has since been released.

UK correspondent Enda Brady, who spoke to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl, said the former prince denies any wrongdoing and noted he is the first member of the royal family to be arrested. Brady commented on the seriousness of the situation.

“Its very very serious, and I think the big question now is at what point will police come out and say their going to charge him or not”, he said.
