Australia is losing ground in its efforts to reduce road fatalities on urban roads, with a 20% surge in deaths recorded on 50km/h suburban roads.

Ehssan Veiszadeh, Roads Australia CEO, explained to Drive host Jamie Burnett that while reducing speed can help, other options are proving more effective.
“What works even more than that is if you physically have a barrier to speeding,” he said
