Oceania House, a heritage-listed hotel built 130 years ago on the unique Cocos Keeling Islands, is searching for a caretaker.

Property Director Seyfi Seyit explained to 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that the successful candidate would look after the hotel, which sits 25m from the beach.

“You’ve gotta be handy, you’ve gotta be good with outdoors as well as a sociable extravert type person who’s a good communicator who can look after the needs of the guests,” he said.
