An off-duty police officer plunged into treacherous waters to rescue a 13-year-old non-verbal autistic boy caught in a rip.
The off-duty police officer who rescued the 13-year-old boy, Sergeant Simon Harrison, joined 6PR Breakfast to share his heroic story.
“You could see the relief in his eyes,” Harrison said.
