After an arduous, stomach-stretching campaign that involved tasting delicious food at 35 pubs across Perth, Jamie Burnett has finally assessed his notes and crunched the numbers to reveal the winner of the Swan Draught Pub of the Year.

It was a very close call, with a three-way tie for third place and only 0.25 separating the top two, but the coveted top prize goes to Fremantle’s iconic Norfolk Hotel.

Perth Live host Russell Collett spoke to the owner, Garry Gosatti, about the honour.

“For our little corner pub in Freo to get up this year, is a real thrill,” he said.
