Authorities are investigating a disturbing incident in Kalgoorlie-Boulder where a naked man was filmed smashing his head into the windscreen while on the bonnet of a slow-moving ambulance.

Glenn Wilson, Mayor of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont the footage highlights the challenges paramedics face and the need for greater support.

“They don’t go to work to put up with that sort of behaviour,” he said.
