Fremantle Chamber urges community support ahead of bridge closure
Fremantle’s new traffic bridge construction is set to begin in mid February, raising concerns among local businesses that the works will cause a “traffic apocalypse” and put strain on them.

Chrissie Maus, CEO Fremantle Chamber of Commerce, told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that measures have been taken to minimise the impact, but she stressed that the community’s support for local businesses remains vital.
“If people don’t come local businesses simply won’t survive,” she said.
