WA has recorded 188 dog-related incidents in the past 6 months, including lacerations, bites and being knocked off their vehicle.

Shane Murphy Secretary of Communication Workers Union explained to Perth Today that the mental scars are seeing some posties unable to return to the job and they are asking owners to help secure their animals to protect the posties.

“Ensure our posties can knock on your door and deliver safely and return to work without any injuries,” he said.
