The Rumour Files on 6PR first reported that Nige Jones, a member for the City of Joondalup, tried to expense drinks at Adelaide’s most iconic strip club during a council-funded conference.

Perth Live host Oliver Peterson managed to speak to the councillor about the incident.

Jones said it was a genuine mistake and that he realises he has compromised the City of Joondalup.

“It’s definitely not where a councillor should be, I accept that and I apologise to the rate payers,” he said.
