Mayor Mark Irwin explained to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that the city acknowledges a shortage of courts, but before they can add more, they need to research ways to make the noise less intrusive, addressing past and current complaints from nearby residents.
“If it mitigates the noise enough that people can play in their parks and reserves and we can put more in there then that’s a good thing,” he said.
