WA’s Economic Regulation Authority has found every energy retailer in the state has overcharged customers following Synergy’s overpayment bungle which was revealed earlier this year.

Economic Regulation Authority Chair Steve Edwell spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said all energy retailers in the state had continued to accept non-cancelled direct debits from customers for energy that wasn’t being supplied by them.
